Community News:

Casino wish list finalized: Future upgrades to ice rink equipment, signage for rink, upgrade to electrical system in hall.landscaping upgrades, general upgrades to hall (fireplace, AV equipment, flat screen TV?).

Thanks Phil for all your work at the hall.

Mike W. will purchase silver engravings for the new Glenbow photos and they will have backings similar to the pictures.

Membership Drive: Next month discussion.

 

Land Use and Policy: Ron will try to attend meeting on Cell Towers tomorrow.

 

West LRT: Bridge design needs to be discussed, naming of station goes to council on Feb. 5.

 

Shaganappi Golf Course: New gates are in place, they will be pruning the shrubs, install traffic slowing signage, eventually replacing clubhouse and moving the utility buildings, and look into 26th St. water management.

Jacques Lodges needs more time for traffic study.

 

Winterfest: Renamed the Shag Olympics: Sat. Feb. 20 3-closing. Featuring hockey figure skating, luge (toboganning). Mike R. will contact Lori Lozo for craft people.

Trails West Hockey By-laws: Officially the boundaries have changed we are now in the Glen Lake area.

Baseball diamond conversion: Mike R. will contact Lori Lozo and start working on it’s redevelopment.
