New Board Members

We are looking for members of the Shaganappi community who are interested in becoming active with the Shaganappi Board of Directors. While we are always accepting directors at large, we are now looking a person to take on the following role:

  • Treasurer - A Board Member who manages the financial operations of the association, is responsible for the care, custody, control and maintenance of the finances and financial records, manages the year-end external audit process, deposits, disbursements (mainly through ETF and e-transfer), sets financial policies, and files all annual returns, audited financial statements, tax returns and AGLC reports. Transaction volume in the operating account would be approximately 10 deposits and 10 dispersements per month. The community's primary source of non-operating (capital) funding is by way of our volunteer participation in AGLC casinos held approximately every year and a half, the community has developed a streamlined process for the associated reporting.
