We are looking for members of the Shaganappi community who are interested in becoming active with the Shaganappi Board of Directors. While we are always accepting directors at large, we are specifically looking for people to take on the following roles:

• Secretary - A Board Member who notifies board members of meetings and includes agenda, noting items that need special preparation, ensures meeting quorum, records all minutes during board and general meetings and serves as custodian of all bylaws, objects, minutes, facility lifecycle plans and the long term community lease agreement with the City

• Community Event Programmer - A Board Member who will be able to work with the other Shaganappi Directors in developing and running community events such as Shagtoberfest and our Halloween Event

• Parent Liaison - A Board Member who will work to connect with the families in our community to help ensure that we are providing activities and opportunities for the children in the community

• Communications - A Board Member who will work with the other directors to help craft the communications to the community that go out from time to time
