West33 by Truman includes two high-quality, transit-oriented developments that will contribute to the vibrancy of an underdeveloped strategic growth location in the community of Shaganappi along the 1700-block of 33 Street SW. Both developments seek to catalyze development along the 33 Street SW corridor by activating the streetscape with widened sidewalks and new commercial-retail activity, while offering 149 stylish condos that can take advantage of the Westbrook Light Rail Transit Station located just a two-minute walk from the sites. The land use redesignations for these developments were unanimously approved by Calgary City Council on September 14th, 2021, and subsequent development and building permit approvals are anticipated through 2022. Construction timing is yet to be finalized.
