Brookfield Residential has a new vision for the Jacques Lodge site in the Shaganappi community. Together with their consultant, ground cubed, they submitted a Land Use Amendment / Outline Plan application to begin the process of redeveloping the 12 acre site located across from Shaganappi Park, North of Bow Trail, between 24th and 26th Streets. Since the initial application in July 2021, Brookfield has modified the application to address feedback from the local community and The City of Calgary. The application is now ready to enter the formal approvals stage, with Brookfield and ground cubed planning to present the land use proposal to the Calgary Planning Commission (“CPC”), possibly as soon as March 18, 2021.
